Airplane

Noordwijkerhout can conveniently be reached from Schiphol (Amsterdam) Airport. On Sunday, June 5th and Thursday, June 9th 2011 free shuttle buses connecting Schiphol Airport with the conference center are provided. It is approximately a 45 minute ride.

If you decide not to use the free shuttle service you can either take a taxi directly to the conference center (fare ca. 60 Euro), or you can take a train from Schiphol Airport to Leiden Central Station and then take a taxi (fare ca. 25 Euro).

On Sunday, please meet at The Meeting Point (see photo below) indicated as a red/white checked box in the Schiphol Plaza. Approximate departure times from The Meeting Point at Schiphol Airport:

Shuttle Buses to Schiphol Airport

Three free shuttle buses will run Thursday afternoon at the conclusion of the conference to take participants from the Leeuwenhorst Conference Hotel to Schiphol Airport. It is approximately a 45 minute ride.

Train

The closest train station to Noordwijkerhout is Leiden Central Station. From Leiden CS board bus 40/42 and transfer to bus 90 in Noordwijk (direction Haarlem). Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the station to the hotel (fare ca. 25 Euro).

If you travel on Sunday, June 5th and/or Thursday, June9th it is recommended that you travel by train to Schiphol Airport and make use of the free shuttle service.

Car

The hotel can be reached from Exit 3 of the motorway A44: Take Exit 3 (Noordwijkerhout) for N208 toward Sassenheim-Centrum/Noordwijk. At the traffic circle, turn right onto Van Pallandtlaan/N208 heading to Sassenheim/Lisse/Haarlem/Noordwijk. Proceed through one traffic circle. At the traffic circle, take the second exit onto Carolus Clusiuslaan/N443. Continue to follow through three traffic circles. Proceed onto Langelaan, turning left. The hotel will be on your left.
